Our Executive Team is lead by General Manager and Director of Nursing, Sue Andrusiow and extends across Clinical Services, Nurse Unit Manager Inpatient Services, Commercial and Administration divisions and hospital catering.

Shellharbour Private Hospital

Sue is a Registered Nurse with 38 years of active nursing experience in hospital and community settings in the Illawarra. Susan was awarded the Shellharbour Council Seal for services to the community in her work as a community nurse. Her management experience is complemented with a Master of Health Management from Wollongong University

Academic achievements include: Master of Health Management, Clinical Tutor for School of Medicine, Wollongong University and Facilitator for Nursing students from TAFE and Universities around Australia.

We have provided work placement for medical students through Wollongong University since the medical school’s inception.

On 13 April 2017, Healthe Care Australia (“Healthe Care”), Australia’s third largest corporate private hospital operator and pan-Asian health care services group acquired Evolution Healthcare’s three Illawarra hospitals: Shellharbour Private Hospital, South Coast Private Hospital and Wollongong Day Surgery.
